I am so glad to finally reveal this secret!! It's been in the works since May and I'm so glad that I have finally gotten the okay to share this with all of you. For a few years now, I have had the great pleasure to work with Miss Susan Southerlandof Just Marry. She is my hero!! I can't believe how many hats she wears. She has a million things going all, all successfull and she is always on the go! Some of you may know her through Perfect Wedding Guide, some of you may know her as the amazing wedding coordinator she is. Her company Just Marry, is how we met. I've been doing design work for her for the last several years and you've probably seen me blog about her a time or 2. (See previous posts 1 and 2). She has been a great supporter of me and all the work I do here at The 2u Collection!
I have also had the pleasure of working with Susan and Kristy Chenell on Susan's latest venture. The Susan Southerland Secret! I don't want to reveal too much but I got the okay to share the logo and the character illustrations we've developed here at The 2u Collection. But knowing these two ladies, it will be a huge success and their are some great unexpected things right around the corner! And I thank them for trusting the look of the company and the characters that will represent it to us here at The 2u Collection. I want to also thank Matt Fuller and Heather Campbell- they are both part of the illustration team here at The 2u Collection. We all had our hands in this and we all had a hand in the development of the characters below! This was hours of hard work, and I know we are all proud of how they turned out. And thank you again for Susan and Kristy for trusting us with their vision!

Better late than never!! I got caught up in paper, so I apologize for not blogging this sooner!! The winners of the Warm and Fuzzy Paper Couture Contest.. Susan Southerland of Just Marry!! Even though her favorite and most relied upon co-worker is growing and moving forward in her career, Susan still had these great things to say:
I nominate Michele Butler. Eleven years ago we were strangers. Since then she has grown to be not only my right hand, but my closest friend, confidant and best cheerleader. She is about to embark on a new adventure career-wise, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention what an amazingly gifted wedding planner and manager she is. I will miss working with her everyday. Fortunately, cocktails on the weekends will be never ending. :-)

Susan Southerland and Michele Butler of Just Marry! and I have been working together for a while now. These ladies are not only great wedding planners, but some of the coolest ladies in the industry. They came to me early this year and asked me to help re-vamp the Just Marry! look. Of course I was excited, because although I LOVE LOVE doing invitations, sometimes Advertising collateral is a nice change, and I think it keeps my creative work fresh!
For the last several months, I've been working closely with Susan to design the covers for her latest DVD. 77 Secrets for Greening the Wedding Industry.
