Charitable Deeds!

I am always trying to find ways to lend a hand to the community and help those organizations that are doing good for others.. I've had the pleasure lately to work with a few different organizations. The Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida and Frontier Civitan. Thanks to Cristina of CCH Marketing & Events, I have been able to do some great work for both of these charities. I am not only proud of the work, but of the fact, that each of these events have been fun and rewarding!

At the end of 2008, The Boys and Girls Club had an event to raise money for a new playground for the children. I was asked to design, create and produce invitations that would get donors to purchase tickets to the event raising money for this playground! I used Metallic Paper, and Ribbon to create something beautiful, yet also affordable. Below are some pics.. We created an initial Eblast, Invitation, a Sponsor Packet and Programs for the evening.

And to start 2009 off right, Cristina and I are working together again on collateral for Frontier Civitan's 7th Annual Charity Fundraiser. Last year I donated product to the Silent Auction, this year I hope to do the same, in addition to creating all the eblasts, sponsor packets, invitations, tickets, programs, etc.

This years event will be a Casino Night with proceeds benefiting the Florida District Junior Civitan clubs (located in middle and high schools) and local area charities in need such as BASE Camp, Coalition for the Homeless, Down Syndrome Association, Ronald McDonald House and many more. Proceeds also benefit the Civitan International Research Center (located in Birmingham, AL) to facilitate research and therapy, the primary focus of which is the treatment and prevention of mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Frontier Civitan has been providing service to the local community since 1974.

Invitations are still in production stages for this March event, but below are some images of the sponsor packet. I will share the rest when the event is over and collateral has been photographed.

As always.. Photography is by the great Abby Liga, of Liga Photography. I should mention she also lent her photography expertise to the November Boys & Girls Club Event by photographing the event.
